Managing diverse capabilities across multi-functional teams can be a challenge. It’s even more difficult if you inherit a large team and there’s no skills documentation or technology strategy to align to.
Here is the results of a skills workshop I ran, followed by a custom team survey. Out of that, I generated a team-level capability heatmap.
Aggregating across the capability areas, it becomes easier to see the strengths and weaknesses. And it’s a great tool to help manage professional development strategy.
