Process Radar

Inspired by ThoughtWorks’ TechRadar and Tech-Info’s approach to prioritising process improvement, here I’ve mapped all items from the Operational Framework on to a radar.

Each item was given an owner then importance and effectiveness was identified for each in a workshop. The results were plotted on an Importance/Effectiveness matrix - and then converted into the following four states:

  • Evaluate: Unimportant and ineffective
  • Maintain: Unimportant and effective
  • Leverage: Important and effective
  • Improve: Important and ineffective
